Continent Club
Welcome to Continent Club! WTV's geography enrichment program for grades 1 - 5. Students/Parents/Guardians download the study materials and have fun together exploring the world through geography. All WTV students are quizzed at school on six Continent Check days during the year.
Continent club is optional, but is a great way to bridge the geography knowledge gap. Short on time? Start with just the continents and the first four countries! It's a wonderful way to build a foundation for global literacy and inspire curiosity about the world, initiating the first steps to your student becoming a global citizen.
This month's Europe Check Day is January 25th. Volunteers are needed for Check Day. For more specific information on the program click here.
Download these study materials and study at home:
All Star Reading Club
The All Star Reading Club is West TV’s voluntary incentive program to encourage students to read. Students read a book from the genre of the month and complete a short summary and submit it to the All Star Reading Club basket located in the library.
This month's genre is Action and Adventure! Print the correct report sheet below or pick up a preprinted copy in the library.
Remember, you can still complete December's report all the way till the end of January!
Missed getting credit for October or November? Complete a makeup report available in the library (the genre is Classics). Reminder: you can only complete one makeup a year.
If you have any questions, reach out to us at allstarreadingclub@wtvptc.org.

District Reminder Regarding Overdue/Lost Books
Hello West TV families:
Each year the district sends out 3 reminder emails about overdue/lost books. This is just a reminder about books needing to be returned, NOT a statement that they need to be paid for at this time. We encourage students and families to take some time to look for those overdue/books and work together to get them returned in a timely manner. Attached is a link to the district's online payment system so if it does come to that point, this is the easiest and most efficient way to pay for any lost or damaged books.
Here are two links for the Online Payment System:
- Instructions - Overall instructions on what to do, straight from the BSD website
- Payment Site - Direct link to start set up/payment
