Tune in to find out how you can support your child's learning goals for the upcoming quarter. Learn about activities that you can do at home to reinforce the Standards being taught in your child's classroom.

Masks to Continue in Schools and Offices
CEO Dr. Monica Goldson has announced that masks will continue to be required inside of schools and offices. Students may remove masks outdoors at recess and for spring sports.
With continued improvement of public health conditions, Dr. Goldson said she anticipates easing the mask mandate by the end of the school year.

Spring Break Arts Camp
CAAPA will offer a FREE spring break camp for students ages 5-13 (Grades K-8). The camp features unique and fun arts learning experiences music, theater, visual art and dance.
Camp will be held April 11-15 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the CAAPA Cultural Center in Fort Washington.

Free Summer Meals
The Maryland State Department of Education (MSDE) is seeking public and private non-profit organizations to serve as meal sites for the Summer Food Service Program (SFSP), a U.S. Department of Agriculture program that provides free, nutritious meals to children and teens in the summer months when school is not in session.
The Program is open to children and teens age 18 and under, and to individuals over 18 who have a mental or physical disability and participate during the school year in a public or private non-profit school.
The deadline for applying to be a summer meal site is June 15, 2022. For more information about the SFSP, please visit www.eatsmartmaryland.org. Interested organizations should contact the Office of School and Community Nutrition Programs at 410-767-0199.
