Qin Shi Huangdi
Who was he?
Qin Shi Huangdi was the first emperor of China. His name meaning supreme emperor of the first generation. He rose to power by defeating the other sates of China and then unified it to one country. When he first came to power he was only 39 when he came to power.
His Achievements
Qin Shi Huangdi was a great emperor in some ways. He did a lot of great things for the Chinese. he order the a huge wall (the great wall of China), he put suage pips in the towns for the peasants, and he had a great army to protect his people.

Qin Shi Huangdi was very powerful and if you did something against him there would be a punishment. Some punishments he used was he would cut your head off, put hot coals on your back, buried you alive and much more.
He also was the first person to order a burning of all books. This was calle the burning of the books. he also order execution of all scholars that did nothing against him.
