Welcome Back!
Murray State University Libraries
I hope everyone enjoyed a restful break and is looking forward to the Spring semester. We were sad to hear that this will be Adam's last semester. He will be taking a new position as Dean of Libraries & Educational Technologies at James Madison University in July. This is a wonderful opportunity for him and Lilia. We're happy for them both, but wish we could talk them into staying.
As you look forward to the semester ahead, please feel free to contact me if you have a 100 level class or one with a research component. I would be happy to come to your classroom or reserve one of ours for library and research instruction for your class. Students tend to do better and retain more, if I come when they are beginning their research. As always, I appreciate your willingness to share your limited class time and hope you find it beneficial.
Thank you for all you do.
Best,
Candace Vance
