Attacks of Leprosy

Leprosy can severely damage the nervous system. It is transported by nasal secretions or droplets. It may also cause you to have numbness all over your body, and it will make you lose a lot of weight.

People who live in warm, wet areas are most at risk to get leprosy. Today, leprosy is found mainly in Angola, Brazil, Central African Republic, Democratic Republic of Congo, India, Madagascar, Mozambique, Nepal, and the United Republic of Tanzania. Many soldiers who fight in these areas become infected.
