Maverick Minutes
April 11, 2016
A big "thank you" to the following people for coaching UIL events every week for months! Erin Richter (ready writing), Molly Davis (creative writing), Trista Ketcham (music memory 3/4), Jordan Reynolds (music memory 5), Mandi Wilson (oral story telling), Brian Ingram (chess puzzle), Gay Nell Donnelly (spelling), and Heather Smith (maps, charts, graphs).
Additionally, thank you to Erin, Molly, and Mandi for judging on Tuesday night and Trista, Zulema, Mary W, Brian, Gay Nell, Jordan, and Heather for judging on Saturday. I so appreciate your willingness to provide this opportunity for our kids to shine! Great job!
I have to give a big thank you to Ken and Erin. I have been quite overwhelmed with things to do this last week and they have both jumped in to take care of everything I gave them and the day to day so that I could do what I had to do! THANK YOU!!
Thank you to Larisa, Erin, and Ken for helping to chaperone the dance on Friday night with me! It was a fun event and the kids were great dancers!
Reminder that the teacher self report is due at the end of this week on Friday, 4/15 at the latest. Please view this link to give you an idea of the type of information this document should include http://www4.esc13.net/uploads/pdas/docs/ScoringCriteriaGuide.pdf beginning on page 35. Be sure to include information in your self-report that informs us about specific things you have done this year to 1)communicate effectively with your parents; 2)use your professional development to make changes to your class; 3) intervene for your students to reteach and extend learning; 4) above and beyond things you have done to address attendance concerns.
