Is this school for me?
Yes. Yes. Yes. This school is for me for many reasons. The most important reason, however, is that they do have psychology as a major and they have it as a masters which is what I plan to do. I plan to get a BA in psychology and then get a masters right after I have received my bachelors. This school has a 24:1 student to faculty ratio, which is perfect for my personality. I love working with small classes and one on one, and I know that attending a school with a high student to faculty ratio would make it hard for me to just concentrate and go through school smoothly. After a lot of research I came to the conclusion that Humboldt is in Arcata where not only are there a lot of trees there, but there's also a beach. I love trees and I love the ocean, so the location of the university also ties in perfectly with the kind of person that I am. I am a little worried about the diversity that there will be in the school, but according to their website the diversity it huge so I only hope I'm not the only hispanic who decides to attend Humboldt State University in the fall of 2016.
