Martin Luther King Jr. Holiday

No school on Monday!

College & Career Readiness Score: 88.5!

Congratulations to our students, teachers, and parents for an outstanding report from the state of Georgia on our performance. Our students are performing high on state assessments.

We need your help on our attendance. Did you know our score could be higher with better attendance? When students are absent or later, they miss learning!

Bus Lane & Cars 7:30 AM - 8:30 AM

Cars are not allowed in the bus lane until after 8:30 AM. Parents are to use the parking lot off Riverside Parkway if arriving after 8:00 AM. Parents are to park the car and walk their child into the school.

Please help keep our bus lanes safe.

Is your child ready to learn at 8:00 AM?

We need our students in class and ready to learn by 8:00 AM. We have several students arriving late each day which distrupts their learning. Our teachers begin teaching at 8:00 AM.

Car rider lane opens at 7:35 AM.

My Student eClass

Did you know your child can continue their learning from home? All students know how to log into My Student eClass account from any computer/internet connected device.

Students can read books on their reading levels (leveled text A-Z). Students can respond to teacher activities posted on eClass C&I teacher pages.

Did you know the math textbook had videos and hands on activities? This is a great way to reinforce learned math skills.

Readling Logs & Math Calendars

Students are encouraged to read each night for 20 minutes and complete the daily math calandar. Both of these are found in the student agenda book. Parents need to sign that the students have completed these activities.

Students who completed both activities each month are rewarded with Picture with the Principal and "1/2" duck. Once students complete 2 months of activities, they will earn a duck on a lanyard. Each 2 months the student completes the activities, they will receive another duck to attach to their lanyard.

During the month of December, students who have completed at least 4 months of activities will participate in Bingo with the Principal. Every student will receive a book for their participation in our school wide reading program.

If your child has not been participating, please encourage them to begin this month! We will continue our monthly recognitions with a Bingo party in May. Enjoy a great book today!
