Sandpoint High School
August 2022
Message from the Principal-
Dear Bulldog Students, Families, and Friends,
It is with great pleasure and honor that I introduce myself to you as the principal of Sandpoint High School. As a Bulldog alumni, I am passionate about ensuring the academics, the activities, and a safe learning environment are of the highest quality possible for the students of SHS. I feel very fortunate to be a part of this school and to support the students and families.
I have been an educator for more than 28 years. Prior to coming to SHS, I have been a teacher, coach, and administrative leader at SMS for more than two decades, taught 6th grade at Priest River Elementary, and most recently, I have been the principal at Northside Elementary. I am thrilled to utilize the skills I have acquired in these positions to continue the tradition of excellence at Sandpoint High School.
On a personal note, my two children are also graduates of SHS. My daughter and her family live in Hayden where she works at KMC, and my son is attending LCSC to become an educator himself. My husband and I are committed members of the Sandpoint community, and my entire family is proud to be a part of LPOSD which provides such high standards and rich learning experiences for students.
The dedicated staff of SHS have been preparing for an outstanding 2022-2023 year. Please read below to find more details about schedules, parking passes, student ID cards, Chromebook distribution, etc.
Sincerely,
Jacki Crossingham
Principal Sandpoint High School

Menu Information
We have transitioned to our online menu software. Each school's menus can be accessed on our child nutrition web page. The online menus are set up for smart phone use as well. They are in real-time so any revisions that I make to menus from supply chain disruptions or food recalls, etc. will be visible immediately when I make them.
Parents and staff can hover over a menu item and it will display item nutrients such as carbohydrate counts, calories, fat contents, etc. The site also allows for known allergens to be filtered out so that each menu item that contains any specific chosen allergen will be greyed out/identified during that specific meal service.
