Class Placement 20-21
It is the time of year when we began the staffing process for 2020-21. As such, it is time for our annual email regarding writing letters for student placement. If there is something imperative you feel would benefit our staff in the placement process, please provide us this information in writing. Because of our current school closure, we are forced to move to a digital placement letter in lieu of hard copy placement letters this year. Please use the link to this 2020-21 PLACEMENT FORM as the ONLY available communication vehicle regarding placement. Please remember your letter may not contain a request for a specific teacher. Below is a link to my placement letter, please review it for other important details regarding student placement at Old Greenwich School.
Again please remind new neighbors and friends to contact Mrs. Marchetti to register students by emailing her at Anita_Marchetti@greenwich.k12.ct.us or they can complete this New OGS Student Information FORM. Both those new to the Old Greenwich Community and incoming 2020-21 Kindergarten students can enroll now for next year. Similarly, if you are anticipating a move this summer, please contact Mrs. Marchetti to complete the necessary withdrawal forms. The more accurate picture I have of future enrollments impacts the number of sections we are allotted in each grade. As those of you with children in some of the larger classes know, the sooner we are able to adjust the number of sections the better!

Please enjoy our read alouds today! We have some birthday shout outs in one of our videos as well. If you click on the title of the book it should take you to the video! There are no birthdays today. We'll celebrate more birthdays later this week.

We would still love to have more readers! If your child read and recorded a story please be sure to email the video to their classroom teacher and to Ms. Bencivengo.
Thank you to our latest group of readers Lily Bittman and Shia Arenas who added to our Read Aloud Collection this week! You can hear their stories by clicking here.
