2nd Grade News
January 27-31
Quick Notes
- Nightly Reading- Please have your child read their "teacher choice" book at home each evening for at least 15 minutes. While we LOVE and ENCOURAGE students to read books that they choose, their choices may not be helping them grow as readers. Split the time, read the teacher choice and then the student choice book...everyone wins!
- Please help your child remember to charge their iPad each night. Also, ask your child if he/she has working headphones...it is that time of year when you can find great deals!
- Please label cold-weather gear.
- Our Valentine's Day parties will be held in our classrooms on Friday, February 14 from 2:00-2:55.
- Students may bring their decorated boxes to hold their valentines beginning Monday, February 10. Students will deliver valentines on Friday, February 14. Your child's teacher will send home a class list the week prior. If your child is giving valentines we ask that all children in your child's homeroom class are included. Thank you so very much!
