The +Entrepreneurship Module intends to heighten the entrepreneurial spirit of our students by providing the most relevant and updated pratices of this up and coming area of knowledge. Students will have the opportunity to learn how to navigate in today's innovative world, while retaining that creative edge that allows entrepreneurs to succeed in establishing sustainable local and global businesses.

Nava Swersky, Co-Chair at NanoIsrael

Nava is an entrepreneur, venture capitalist, innovation and technology commercialization expert with 20 years of experience. She's an adviser to the Israeli Government on innovation and international R&D collaborations; President & Co-Founder of the International Commercialization Alliance that influences policy on commercialization for 22 member countries. She's also Vice Chair of the Excellence for Commercialization of Research Canada and Founder of NanoIsrael, the international nanotech conference & exhibition.

This course aims to translate the value proposition into a tangible solution (product and/or service) with which you can experiment to get (or not) it approved by the target customer segment, get information necessary for decision-making and continue working on improving the go-to-market strategy.

Wayra is a start-up accelerator which was started in Latin America and Spain in 2011 as an initiative of Telefónica's chief executive in Europe, José María Álvarez-Pallete. The start-up companies receive funding, office space and mentoring. In 2013, there were 14 Wayra academies in 12 countries in Europe and Latin America and Telefónica planned to support about 350 startups altogether.

Didac Lee, Founder & CEO Inspirit and FC Barcelona Board Member (Technology Area)

Inspirit’s portfolio is made up of seven tech companies with a markedly innovative profile operating in different sectors such as online marketing, IT security, and e-commerce, notably Zyncro, Spamina, Fhios, Openshopen, Hotelerum, Alpify and Intercomgi Development Center. The group currently employs more than 400 people in nine countries.

Another one of Dídac’s success stories includes Scubastore, founded in 1998, which is the origin of the present-day group Tradeinn, the first online retailer specialized in sports equipment and European e-commerce leader in its sector. With more than 500,000 customers, Tradeinn operates in 220 countries around the world.

Derek Andersen, Founder at Startup Grind

Derek Andersen is the founder of Startup Grind, a 100 city community educating, inspiring, and connecting entrepreneurs in 45 countries. Startup Grind has more than 500 volunteers hosting hundreds of educational events each year. Startup Grind's core values of helping others, giving first, and making friends have spread across the world.
In 2009 he founded Vaporware Labs incubating mostly failed products but also a few successes including Startup Grind, and professional social network Commonred. In 2012 Commonred was acquired by Income.com.
Before 2009 he worked at Electronic Arts on games like Burnout, Mirror's Edge, The Sims, and The Godfather The Game. Derek has lived 8-years outside the United States in countries like France, Switzerland, Germany, England, the Cook Islands and New Zealand. He speaks fluent Cook Island Maori and currently lives in Palo Alto California with his wife and three children.
