Dear Hawley Parents/Guardians,
I hope that everyone weathered the storm, and are warm and safe. And, that you are also enjoying the long weekend.
Here's What's Happening at Hawley.......
Student Self-Kindness Day!!
Due to the potential weather-related delayed opening last Friday, to be proactive we rescheduled this event......
The staff at Hawley are going to give time this Friday, 1/25/18 for just this purpose. It will be Student Self-Kindness Day!
Students will be given a list of activities (such as coloring/art, gym games, reading, yoga, crafts, puzzles). They will choose and participate in 2, 45-minute sessions run by a staff. Sessions will be with mixed grades and varied staff. This will be a very fun day that we are all looking forward to.

Reminders / FYI
Please remember to call the main office when your child is going to be late or is absent. We have to account for every student, every day. Without a call from you, we need to spend time calling all of your contact numbers to get confirmation that your child is in fact absent.
Send in a note if your child is staying for a PTA After School Club (1 note with all dates is fine or weekly)

Out of the Mouths of Babes.....
Mr. M came across a young lady after school.
"What are you still doing here?" Mr. M inquired
"I am in a PTA After School Program." responded the tot
"Which One?" asked Mr. M
The girl answered, "Tea for Two"
"What if there is 3 people?" joked Mr. M
"Then they can have some water"
