FDA doubles dosage of Covid-19 monoclonal antibody, raising concerns about access and supply
The US Food and Drug Administration doubles the dosage of the Evusheld vaccination. The Evusheld was a monoclonal antibody against Covid 19 for immunocompromised people and those who cannot be vaccinated for their medical conditions/ reasons. The data showed that the Evusheld may be less effective for fighting against certain Omicron variants. So they went back and revised their work and the data showed that a higher dose of it most likely help prevent the COVID-19 Omicron subvariants BA.1 and BA.1.1 than the originally authorized Evusheld dose. The Evusheld dose might help prevent the Covid 19 for people who are over the age of 12 and people who have a slightly too severely compromised immune system. It is also for people who have been or are too weak to do too medical conditions, and medication. One of the hardest parts is getting the word out to people to get or go back and get both doses. This of course might change with the Omicron and different variants of Covid 19, so they will have to adjust the Evusheld dose or doses as necessary. It might be the best chance and protection for the immunocompromised but doubling the doses also makes the treatment in short supply. It can also be hard to access the dose since it is in such high demand, They say that the doses need to be distributed evenly and there also need to be more doses.

The ship was expected to arrive in Rhode Island on Wednesday but that will no longer be happening. Help is in the way to try and save as much as possible. It is expected that there will not be much to salvage from the ship. The damage costs will be very grand.

World's Largest Airplane destroyed in Russian invasion of Ukraine
The Antonov-225 cargo plane, which was the world’s largest plane, was destroyed. It wa destroyed in a Russian attack. Kuleba confirmed the news on his Twitter account on Sunday and said that "Russia may have destroyed our ‘Mriya’. But they will never be able to destroy our dream of a strong, free and democratic European state. We shall prevail!" The plane, dubbed "Mriya," or "The Dream," was destroyed at the Antonov airfield in Gostomel, near Kyiv, where it was under repair, according to Ukrainian state-run news organization Ukroboronprom. It said it would cost more than $3 billion to restore the plane and that the restoration would take around five years. The statement from Ukroboronprom added that "our task is to ensure that these costs are covered by the Russian Federation, which has caused intentional damage to Ukraine’s aviation and the air cargo sector." The destruction of the aircraft has not been independently verified. However, CNN reported that satellite images from Maxar Technologies show significant damage to part of the hangar in which the AN-225 is stored. NASA's Fire Information for Resource Management System also detected multiple fires at the airport, including at the hangar where the plane is kept, the news outlet said.
