Who was Alan Turing?
Alan Turing was a British mathematician created the first basic form of artificial intelligence. He was born on 23 June, 1912, in London and died 7 June, 1954 due to self-inflicted cyanide poisoning.
Why is he so important?
Alan Turing is important because he invented an early form of artificial intelligence, meanning that he had the first idea that machines could learn over time instead of the machines just doing what they were programmed to do. He also helped decipher German codes in World War 2 which played a vital role in the British winning World War 2.
