The Birmingham Brief
Week February 5-9, 2018
Together....we Shine as One!!
"A diamond is a piece of coal under pressure. If you are feeling pressure today, you are about to SHINE!"
Wear BLUE on Monday in remembrance of Richardson Police Officer and McMillan Jr. High parent, David Sherrard.
We've have had one of the busiest weeks of the year......and we survived it with grace!!! Thank you all so much for tackling the most AMAZING decorations I've ever seen!! If walking the halls doesn't make you smile, I'm not sure what will!! True teamwork at it's finest! #1team1dream WOW!!! We ARE..Birmingham!!
Digital Showcase...WOW!!!!
We had a "house" full of Bears last night!!! Every little thing was perfect!!! Again....another affirmation that #1team1dream is alive and well in the halls of BES!!! SO MANY CELEBRATIONS!! Other than hearing the sweet voices of our Beary Tones, my favorite experience of the night was the Live Museum! The kids were so nervous to present, but once they got started their courage was SHINING bright!!! Loved it all!!!
SHOUT OUT to our CAMP team for welcoming 8 of our 4th graders who were unable to attend the symphony on Thursday. I have no doubt these Bears had a great time helping you and your students! THANK YOU!!!
Don't forget....NEXT Wednesday is Valentine's Day!! Please remind parents about our class parties that start at 2:00 p.m. All visitors will need to check in with the front office before joining the parties. Thank you!!!
