Life Group Leaders Weekly
WEEK TEN (April 2 - 8)
OUR MISSION
"TO CULTIVATE MEANINGFUL RELATIONSHIPS CENTERED ON GOD'S WORD AND PRAYER."
LIFE GROUP UPDATE
Greetings Leaders!
We made it to the end! This is officially the last week of Spring Life Groups! Now is the opportunity for you to reflect with your leaders on all that God has done over this last semester. For most of you, this is also a time to take a much needed break! As Coordinators we are so grateful for all of you who have decided to serve.
As a very small token of our thanks you are going to receive a "THANK YOU!" gift in your mailbox. It pales in comparison to all that you have done, but we are so very grateful.
You won't be hearing from me on this format for a while (sad, I know!), but for those of you ready to take the plunge again in the Fall, you can look forward to a phone call from yours truly sometime in July.
P.S. If you think of it, we encourage all of you to take a group picture during your last meeting and to email it to Heather. Also, if you have any more pictures from your group, socials, or serve projects, please send those along as well!
P.P.S. This is a long way out, but I will be bringing a group of 20 people to San Diego on October 17 and 18 for a "Sticky Teams Conference." The event, travel, and food will be free of change to any Life Group leaders (minus hotel accommodations) interested in joining us. Space is limited, so begin thinking about if that would be of interest to you to join us. We went last year and it was a blast!
In Christ,
Pastor Justin

THIS WEEK
Ephesians 6:10-24
Title:
"THE ARMOR OF GOD"
Description:
Not only are Spring Life Groups drawing to a close, but so is our sermon series "Ephesus." As we wrap it up, it is important to consider what the apostle Paul leaves us with. After all, final instructions are important! Paul is going to remind us that we are in the midst of all an-out WAR and that each Christian is given the proper armor to fight. Standard issue for the Christian.
The greatest thing Paul can leave us with is precisely where we started - a reminder that God is not only the author and perfecter of our faith, but also the one who will orchestrate the victory. That gives us both courage on the battlefield and urgency to participate in His mission.
See you Sunday!
LIFE GROUP LEADER NOTES
SERVE/SOCIAL CONTEST - #CRCLIFEGROUPS
LAST WEEK TO GET YOUR PICS IN!
1. Send your pics and videos to Heather Thomas at: hnthomas.2002@gmail.com, and
2. Post your pics and videos on Facebook with the hashtag #CRCLifeGroups (@HanfordCRC). Also, be sure to express why you love your Life Group in the post.
Once all 9 groups have completed their service projects we will do a random draw for every individual email with videos/pictures to Heather and social media interaction from your group (max of 2 per individual).
The winner will receive 15 free movie tickets to Cinemark for your entire Life Group for a group social event or to use individually. Share the news with your team!
FINAL DRAW WILL BE TUESDAY, APRIL 11th!!!
SNEAK PEEK OF NEXT SERMON SERIES - "PI2"
Though we readily share details about our favorite restaurant or hairdresser, or highlights of last nights' game, or the movie we just saw, sharing our faith is often much more intimidating. Why is that? We are going to explore this topic on more depth.
