Parent Teacher Conferences

It is almost time for Parent Teacher Conferences! I will be sending home a copy of my available schedule today with all students. However, if you would prefer to sign up online, please do so using Skyward Family Access. Please let me know if you need any instructions on how to access this website. I look forward to meeting with you all! :)

AR change

I just want to let all parents know of a change to our AR process. With our new schedule this year, I was very hopeful that we would have enough time in class for a 20 minute block of AR reading. However, that is not turning out to be the case. So, AR will now be nightly homework. The students have an AR folder that they should use to record their AR reading each night. This will not be a grade in the gradebook, but I will be checking AR folders daily to make sure students are completing this activity. Please let me know if you have any questions, and thank you for your help and understanding with this change!

Weekend Chromebooks

Don't forget, students have the opportunity to leave their Chromebooks at school for the weekend if they so choose. Students wishing to do this MUST bring their charger to school on Friday, so that I can lock up their device and make sure it gets charged over the weekend. I CAN NOT keep the Chromebook without the student's charger!

This opportunity will ONLY be available over the weekend, as the students will need to take their Chromebook home each night of the week for homework purposes. Please let me know if you have any questions! :)
