Big picture

Are You Ready for the Challenge?

The Arizona Commission for Postsecondary Education along with its partners are excited to announce that the statewide FAFSA completion dashboard and website is now available at FAFSAChallenge.az.gov ! The Arizona FAF$A Challenge is a statewide initiative to increase FAFSA completions among Arizona high school seniors while promoting friendly competition. The goal of the challenge is to increase the FAFSA completion rate to at least 50% for the current 2018-2019 school year and then gradually increasing the rate to 78% by the year 2030. For the 2017-2018 school year, Arizona had a high school senior FAFSA completion rate of 43% which is well below the 60.9% national average. Our goal is to increase this rate so to that Arizona can be a leader among high school senior FAFSA Completions!
