News & Information for Tiger Families

Letter from the Principal

Tiger Families,

Can you believe school is right around the corner?!?

Thank you to our many volunteers this summer! We could not do it without you! Did you know that this summer we had two new heating and cooling units installed in our 4th and 5th grade classrooms. Thank you to everyone who donated to Raise the Paddle at the 2023 School Auction. Not to mention our parking lot looks amazing, as our drainage system in the front was fixed and our parking lot was resurfaced this summer! If you get a moment check out the fresh coat of paint on the cafeteria, along with seven bathrooms! A huge shout out to Lori Myers for coming in on our paint day and to Sean Green who has been painting various parts of the school.

We are constantly striving to improve St. Teresa Catholic School so it can be the very best for our amazing students and families!

If you are planning on returning to St. Teresa for the 2023-2024 school year, please register ASAP.

As always, we thank you for sharing your student with us. We appreciate your trust, support, and partnership.

Sincerely,

Nicole Green

Principal

EMPOWER - SAVE OUR SCHOLARSHIP

Did you know that EMPOWER's Sunset is coming up? Did you know that you can help fight to keep EMPOWER Scholarships for St. Teresa Students?

There will be a Parent Training on August 23rd at 6pm Althoff High School.

We need parents to call/talk to Rep Hoffman and Sen Belt and conduct office visits.

Parents will be trained on how we got here, what they will hear from the legislators, and how to respond. The more parents that participate the more the work is spread around.

This is the LAST opportunity we have to save our St. Teresa families scholarships!

Parish Picnic

St. Teresa Parish Picnic is right around the corner! In order to prepare for the church picnic, we ask that parents consider bringing their child to the school office entry area around 8:15am on August 25th to help set up. Kevin or Ginny Bouse (618-410-1047/618-973-4378) will be at St. Teresa School to supervise and guide students on tasks that need to be completed. Students are normally finished around 11:15am and go to Cutters for lunch. Please remind your children that working at the CHURCH PICNIC is a GREAT WAY TO GET VOLUNTEER HOURS. Please reach out to Kevin or Ginny Bouse for needed shifts. Teardown is Sunday, August 27th at 8am and usually takes 2 hours.
