A Note from the Principal
Hello, Centennial Families!
Just a reminder that tonight is our PK-2 Centennial "Back to School Night" Parent Orientation and we can't wait to see you from 5:30-6:30! (Our 3-5 Back -to-School Night is this Thursday at the same time!)
Details Below
- Doors open at 5:15 (not "come and go")
- Presentations by both the teachers and the administration team compose the event
- We regret that we are unable to provide childcare for this event; please plan accordingly. Thank you!
- Presentations end at around 6:15 to ensure families with students at other Memorial feeder schools have time to attend those school events as well!
Thanks for helping to keep kids safe during drop off and pick-up!
Gentle Reminders:
- no phones in the car line, please (we need all eyes up; thank you for keeping all students safe!)
- drop off / pick up from the car door closest to the curb (no parking to get out of car in car line, please; pull-up / pull over in our parking lot once out of the car line to secure seat belts. Bless you!)

Kona Ice Day
Our first Kona Ice Day is Friday, August 26th. Sno Cones are $3 each. Please send cash unless you prepaid for the year. Volunteers are needed to assist the kids. Volunteer HERE!
Watch DOGS Pizza Night
Our annual WatchDOGS Kickoff Meeting is coming up on Thursday, September 1, at 6:00PM in the cafeteria. If you’d like to find out more about WatchDOGS, please join us with your kids for information and pizza! If you can't make pizza night, you can sign up for WatchDOGS HERE!
Spirit Wear
Our first Spirit Day is next week on September 2nd! On Spirit Days, students and teachers wear their school shirts or colors and everyone gets POPCORN! The Spirit Cart will also be open before school on Spirit Days. Small prizes and goodies will be available to purchase - send $5 or less. Make sure you get your awesome spirit wear so you’re ready for Spirt Day!! While you’re in the store, we’d love for you to help us out with donations for teacher luncheons, Pass it On, Veteran’s Day, PTO Membership, and Popcorn donations.

- 8:50-9:15 Arrival.
- Students in class by 9:15 a.m. are counted on time (tardies begin at 9:16 and require parent sign-in, please)
- Students are dropped off at the front of building and escorted to class by staff as needed
- Breakfast is served in the Cafeteria from 8:50-9:15
- PK Dismissal 3:25
- K-5 Dismissal 3:55
School Hours for TEACHERS/STAFF:
- Begins 8:45 a.m. (students in classrooms at 8:50 a.m.)
- Ends at 4:15 p.m.
