A Message From Ms. Schultz
Hello Bear Creek Families!
This week in PE we will be wrapping up our 3rd-5th Grade FitnessGram testing. We have STAAR testing on campus Tuesday-Thursday resulting in some changes to the Special Area schedule. On Tuesday remote learners will be attending PE; ALL Remote Learners will have an asynchronous PE lesson. I've created a video of class and posted it on BLEND for them to do during their assigned PE time. On Friday ALL remote learners assigned to PE that day will log into PE Zoom as usual, thank you for your flexibility with these adjustments.
TUESDAY REMOTE LEARNER SCHEDULE - Asynchronous PE Video:
8:40-9:25 = Martinez, Erickson, Bayerl
9:30-10:15 = Lawrence
10:20-11:05 = Parajon, Cottingham, Spalla
11:10-11:55 = Essenburg, Burbridge, Ciampi
12:50-1:30 = Stolinsky and Luft
1:35-2:15 = Hanna, Grotte, and Forrest
2:20-3:00 = Linnell, Mangels, and Harmon
On Friday we will begin a short striking unit that continue into and wrap up next week. Click on the first image below to see some ideas for at home equipment. Striking skills will not be assessed for grades, just some skill practice :)
In lieu of a Field Day this year we are planning a PE Play Day - Minute to Win It Challenges for PE classes May 24th-26th. More details will be in next week's Special Area Newsletter, but I've included an image below of equipment that kiddos might want to start gathering for these challenges!
Please continue to use the PE BLEND Courses as your first source of information regarding PE, and message me through Blend or email with any further questions. Each grade level PE BLEND Course is linked below.
Thank you for your continued support!
