Happy New Year to the Nobles of Mighty Mut’im! I trust that your holiday season was fulfilling and enjoyable.
It is now 2017 and we have work to do! As I stated in my December 2016 acceptance speech, we have a very aggressive schedule that will require the full support and commitment of all Mut’im Nobles in order to be successful.
Starting in January 2017, besides the Oasis of Fredericksburg Conference taking place at Prince Hall Lodge #61 on Saturday, January 21st at 11:00am, Mut’im Temple #240 will be responsible for the lunch feeding of the homeless at the Brisbane Center. Special thanks to both PP Nole and Noble Carter for volunteering their culinary skills to assist us in our first charitable effort of the new year. I will be looking for your participation. Likewise, our Mut’im Joint Super Bowl event has tickets that need to be sold by all Mut’im Nobles. PP Lee has set the tone by selling 40 tickets in one evening. Let’s do our part to start the year off with a successful fundraising event. We also will be participating in the Restoration Ministries church Sunday service on February 12, 2017 taking place at the Fredericksburg VFW.
I have asked Noble “Big Chris” Thompson to post my scheduled attendance at various Shrine events (Potey’s Schedule) thru February 2017 on our website under the ABOUT US banner. It will as the year moves on fill up with other scheduled Potey attendance information.
I’m looking forward to working and riding with you all as we move towards an outstanding year!

Our deputy of the Oasis will be hosting the annual Joint Oasis conference 9 Feb 2017 11am @ Prince Hall Lodge #61. Please be on time.

The monthly training will be held at Dep Tate's home- 37 SNOW DR. Stafford Va. 2nd Tuesday of each month. Required for DIVAN members but all are welcome.
