"Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead..." Philippians 3:13

WOW! Our first Pink Blossoms newsletter! Woot woot!! To say that I am thrilled to have the opportunity to be your Director, would be an understatement! If you would have asked me two years and nine months ago if I thought I'd ever be a Director, my answer would have been no. Sure, I wanted to be a Director, but I honestly didn't believe that I would ever be able to reach that level. At the time, I wasn't even sure I could be successful as a consultant, let alone anything higher!

I have had the opportunity to share my story with some of you (and yes I am working to complete the short video series I started over the summer, but we've had so many technical difficulties...it's ridiculous), so for those of you who haven't heard it, let me just say that the fact that I am here today is due, in large part, to the fact that I absolutely refused to quit! I've experienced so many set backs, road blocks and dead ends that it too is quite ridiculous! However, in each of these moments, I sought the Lord for direction and each time He was faithful to lead and guide me every step of the way.

And this month is no different. As I'm sure you'll all see from the numbers below, both myself and our team as a whole didn't meet the numbers necessary to earn the Director Bonus. I would be lying if I said I wasn't disappointed by this, BUT I absolutely refuse to let that hinder me from moving forward. I have chosen to do just what the verse above says, to forget what is behind and to strain toward what is ahead! To trust that the Lord will make my steps firm and that even if I stumble, I will not fall because it is the Lord who upholds me (Psalm 37:23-24).

I don't know all the details of your individual stories, but regardless of where you find yourself today I pray that you'll join me in this "forgetting what lies behind and straining toward what is ahead" movement. I can't promise smooth sailing all the way, but I do know, that it will be worth it.

I hope you enjoy this first newsletter and all that follow - my hope is that you will be blessed, encouraged and strengthened by it.

Celebrate & Connect ~ A Look Back at the Spring Product Premier

Out of all the C&C's and Product Premier's I have attended over the last couple of years, I have to say that this particular Spring Product Premier was my absolute favorite!! Below are just a few of my favorite idea's that I jotted down to remember...

1) Hostess Appreciation Event - these women have invited you into their homes, now invite them to yours (or a coffee shop or restaurant if you're home just isn't an option). Celebrate, encourage & reward them for choosing YOU as their consultant.

2) VIP Packets - During your hostess coaching find out your hostesses top 10-15 friends (from their list of 40) and send them a VIP packet. This could include a full catalog, wish list/order form, a pen, the monthly special flyer, a small gift or inventive to party once, host once etc.

3) Pink Bag Follow-Up Calls - follow up with your customers after the party. Give them some time to get their order and (hopefully) use their new products and then touch base with them. You want them to come back to you, so give them the absolute best service - the Pink Glove service!

Do you know what all of these idea's have in common? Have you guessed it yet? It's relationships!! Regardless of what you do in and for your business this coming year, make relationships a priority! Invest in those that have come across your path and into your sphere. You never know just when a seed that was planted (and watered) will BLOSSOM.

It's been said that people won't remember what you say or what you do, but they will remember how you make them feel (Maya Angelou). Consider how you can celebrate, encourage and reward those in your sphere of influence today.

Contact me with any questions you have! I'd love to help you on your journey!
