Veterans Day Assembly - November 11
The faculty and students of MNMS cordially invite the men and women who have served or are serving our country to the MNMS Veterans Day Assembly on Friday, November 11, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. in the MNMS Gym
All guests will need to sign-in upon entering the building. To save time upon arrival, we highly encourage you to use THIS link to pre-register, and we will have a visitor badge already printed for you when you arrive.
Please join us for a reception immediately following the assembly.

It is an exciting time of year with the holidays quickly approaching, but we also understand that it can cause additional stress on families. The good news is that MPS has resources available!

We also partner with the Eastern Canadian County Toy Shoppe which helps to provide families with Christmas gifts. Applications are currently open and can be found at www.ecctoyshoppe.com. On the main page, click on "apply now." *Applications close on 11/18/22.

Spring 2022 OSTP Results
Paper copies of your student's results from last Spring will be sent home with your student (if your student took their test at an MPS school last spring) at the end of this week. See the information below online access.
The OSTP Parent Portal is designed to provide students and parents with online access to a student’s state assessment results. The following resources have been posted on the OK Help and Support Site at https://oklahoma.onlinehelp.cognia.org/test-coordinator-information/ and will help you share student results with families. Scroll down the page to find the information.
- OSTP Parent Portal User Guide. This document was created to help parents navigate the portal and provides step by step instructions.
- OSTP Parent/Student Portal Sample Login. This document was created to help educators assist parents, guardians, or students on how to navigate within the OSTP Parent Student Portal. A sample login credential is provided for educators so they can familiarize themselves with the information parents and students will access. This is for educators only and should not be shared with parents.
- OSTP Parent Portal Overview video. This is a video for you to download and share with families that will provide them with more information on how to use the portal.
- OSTP Parent Portal Toolkit. This document provides key points about student testing.
- The Oklahoma Parent Portal is also designed to be viewed in Spanish. A Spanish Parent Portal User Guide has been created for you to share with families as needed. This guide provides families with step-by-step instruction on how to navigate in the Parent Portal in Spanish.

7th Grade Parent Information
Middle school is an important setting for supporting mental health and suicide prevention among youth. Our 7th grade students are scheduled to receive instruction in their ELA2 class from our 7th grade counselor (Mrs. Sprouse) one day between Nov 4 and Nov 10 addressing suicide warning signs, risk factors, and resources for getting help during.

MNMS Student Arrival/Departure Times
Classes are 8:40 a.m. - 3:35 p.m.
The building is open 8:10 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. each day
Please do not drop students off or allow students who walk to school to arrive prior to 8:10.
Students are not allowed to walk/ride bike coming from the west due to safety concerns.
Students coming from the east should stay on the sidewalks and cross 15th Street at the crossing guard in front of Creek Elementary.
If you are coming to MNMS, please come through the Front Doors and check in at the office.
Please note that students should not be checked out at the end of the day after 3:05 p.m..
