Weekly Warrior
Week 26: Feb 22nd - Feb 26th
Notes from Principal Knowles:
Greetings Parents,
I know many of you with students in grades 3-8th may be wondering and have asked if we are scheduled to have Spring Assessments specifically FSA. At this time the answer is yes, the Governor, has not communicated otherwise.
Here is how you can help us:
If you have a middle schooler and they are failing a CORE class, we are strongly encouraging you to have your student return for Face to Face instructions. Failure to do so confirms that you recognize the need and are opting out. If you have questions kindly reach out to your child’s teachers or Ms. Saxon, our middle school AP contact.
Another area that requires attention is student arrival to campus before the first bell at 8:00AM. All students should be in their seats and starting their “Do now” before the bell rings.
Parents note when students are late, they become anxious and they are not given enough time to relax socially before starting their day. Which is an important aspect to the learning process.
Thank you for choosing Hunters Creek where we prepare students for college or careers.

Lunch News!
Parents we still need any student with a negative lunch balance to take care of it now. Your student will be unable to receive breakfast and will receive a sandwich for lunch. It is important to take care of these negative balances and remember these balances occur prior to October 1st.
If no balance is due all students have free breakfast and lunch until the end of the school year.
Have a great day.
