Week Of December 16th
Highlights from last week....
Thank you to all of the parents that came to conferences, it was a pleasure to meet with all of you.
Holy cow, we were assessing machines! We plan on using the data gathered from these assessments to better service your children. They have been such troopers plugging on with the holidays so close! We are very proud of them!
In Math, we continued our unit on measurement. Our focus this week was on volume. We discussed what has more or less capacity.
A peek at our week
This week our class will read stories about different jobs that people have in the community.
We will learn the new vocabulary words: equipment, uniform, utensils, expect, and remained.
We will learn the new sight word "you" and the letter Oo.
In Math, we will compare area and numbers.
