Carrillo Community Update
November 27 - December 2
I hope each and every one of you had a wonderful Thanksgiving! It's been a busy quarter so far and hopefully you and your families had time to stop, take a breath, and enjoy each others company. This week is a relatively light week before the hustle and bustle of the end of quarter is upon us. Enjoy it!
Last Week's Highlights
We have an interactive art display in our gallery right now. The First Grade Cougar Town was a collaborative project between Ms. Tautimer, Ms. Ramirez, and Ms. Dal Pra as part of their study of communities. As an added twist, there are a variety of items hidden in the town. Check back regularly, as items move around the city!

CLASS PICTURE DAY
MAKE ADIFFERNCE AT CARRILLO
If you are able to come by to help us tackle a few projects to enhance the recess times for students, we'd appreciate it! The sign up for supplies and work is below. Thank you in advance!
Las Posadas Support
Thank you to everyone who has volunteered so far! We are still looking for parent and community volunteers to help us with the event. If you have 30 minutes of time you can donate to the school to support set up, ticket sales, food sales, or clean up we thank you in advance for signing up using the attached link.
KIND CAMPUS CHALLENGE - Kindness at Home
Like any developing skill, kindness asks us to commit to practicing regularly, and committing to kindness as a family can provide inspiration, encouragement, and accountability. Ask your students to see if they can fill a room or space (maybe the fridge) with colorful messages representing kindness enacted or witnessed at home! Documenting kindness at home will strengthen the idea that everyone can perform and receive kindness. By committing to kindness, we recognize that our actions contribute to a kinder and more connected community.
