It's time to find out by participating in the UGA Career Readiness Challenge!
UGA invites ALL students to participate in the "UGA Career Readiness Challenge" starting Monday, February 26th and ending on Sunday, April 22nd. This Challenge will engage you with the Career Center's newest resource, Potfolium, helping you learn more about this tool as well as how your time in school is preparing you for your future career.
Each Monday, for 8 weeks, we will announce and define a new career readiness skill on Instagram (@UGACareerCenter) and you will have the opportunity to participate each week by uploading your most relevant project for the skill announced! We will select 8 winners, 1 winner for each week of the Challenge. Weekly winners will receive a Career Center t-shirt AND be entered to win our Grand Prize: Wireless Beats Headphones!

Arch Ready: Diversity and Inclusion in the Workplace
Time: 4:30-6:00 PM

In this session, you will learn how to:
- Recognize how identity and the challenges associated with discussing identity in the workplace
- Identify aspects of an inclusive work environment • Understand the benefits and the challenges of employee privilege
- Utilize strategies and resources for addressing diversity related issues in the workplace

Arch Ready: Applying to Graduate School
Time: 4:00-5:30 PM

In this session you will learn how to:
- Identify common requirements for graduate school admissions such as testing, recommendation letters, and more
- Gain an understanding of typical graduate school timelines
- Display an awareness of key reflective questions prospective graduate students should consider
Arch Ready: Resumes and Cover Letters
Time: 5:00-6:00 PM

Join us for this interactive resume and cover letter presentation where you will leave with the ability to format a professional resume and cover letter, tailor a resume and cover letter to specific employers, industries, and jobs, and learn how to articulate your skills and experiences on a resume and cover letter.

Internship in Social Learning as a Program Instructor
Position Description: The Tribes program at Summit is a primary tool for addressing the social development and learning that all of our campers need. Even those campers who are considered leaders in the Summit community will struggle in the broader environment with friendship, social behaviors, and understanding social interactions. The Tribes staff is the team member who most understands concepts of social learning and is ready to help our campers through a program specifically geared towards social development and social learning concepts.
The role of the Tribes person is to therefore to develop, organize, and lead Tribes sessions based on the outline provided by directorship prior to the beginning of camp. These sessions are developed in collaboration with the Assistant Director.

Social Worker (Make Progress) in Men's Services
Position Description: Do you feel called to work in a Christian Ministry? Atlanta Mission is seeking a social worker at our location near Athens, Georgia. As a Social Worker at the Potter’s House you will serve within our ministry by serving men to assist them with their individual needs to overcome their current circumstance. Some other tasks associated with this position are that you will be to conduct clinical evaluation, including screening, assessment, and recommends services, to manage personalized service planning for client’s case management needs, and to lead weekly devotions and classes for clients among other tasks.
