Message from Mr. VanIwarden
Hi CCE Community!
I hope this email finds you well and that you had a wonderful winter break with your family. It was awesome to see the smiles on the kids' faces as they returned to school this week.
I wanted to take a moment to let you know about our new ROCKS posters that we have displayed throughout the school. These posters highlight our core values and the ROCKSTAR behaviors that we encourage our students to show on a daily basis. I encourage you to ask your children about these posters and discuss ways they can demonstrate these ROCKSTAR behaviors both at school and at home.
I wanted to remind you that Monday, January 15th is Martin Luther King Jr. Day, and there will be no school that day. It's a great opportunity to spend quality time with your loved ones and reflect on the powerful legacy of Dr. King. Here are some Time for Kids articles that you could read with your child.
As we start the new year, let's continue to foster a positive and supportive environment for our students. Encourage them to set goals, embrace challenges, and strive to be their best selves. Together, we can help them be ROCKSTARS at CCE.
Thank you for your ongoing support and involvement in your child's education. I am excited to continue our work together and look forward to all the amazing things our students will achieve in the coming months.
CCE ROCKS~ Mr. VanIwarden

THANK YOU PTA
for our December Staff Appreciation Gift!!!
A HUGE Thank You and with Deep Gratitude:
Tanya Stearns, owner of Inspired Creations and an alumni parent of CCE, took it upon herself to duplicate all past yearbooks and as many student photos as possible to replace those lost to our families who were impacted from the Marshall Fires. She donated all of her time as a graphic designer, along with funding some of the additional expenses for the printing of the books. She, along with a team of support people and with the kindness from various vendors with discounted prices, were able to provide all of our current and alumni families who were affected with books.
The generosity of all of the people involved is greatly appreciated from the Coal Creek Community! THANK YOU!
