Student Organization Highlight

Revive's Alumni Panel

On October 8th, five former Revive presidents were invited to speak at an alumni panel event. David and Brielle Loughney, Brendan Romigh, Neil Hoxworth and Donovan Byler reflected on their time at Kent Stark, spoke about life after college, expressed what Revive meant to them and how it impacted their lives, and gave advice to current students on making the most of their college experience. Current students were then encouraged to ask the alumni questions of their own. After the panel, past and current students connected with discussion. It was a valuable experience for all who attended.

STUDENT ORGANIZATION UPDATES

cREATIVE WRITING CLUB

The Creative Writing Club (CWC) is off and running! Our fall kickoff event, in keeping with the club’s mission to provide a safe, fun, and collaborative space for creative literary expression, celebrated a dozen student voices in an exploratory “Writing Marathon” hosted by the club’s student leaders. We now looks forward to two upcoming events: On Wednesday, October 20 at 7pm via Zoom, the CWC will host a costume party. You can come dressed as your favorite author and/or recite some of their work, or just come and observe. Then, on Wednesday,

November 10 at 7pm via Zoom, the CWC will host Montana Poet Laureate, Mark Gibbons,

for a poetry reading and Q&A session. All faculty, staff, students and CCP enrollees are

welcome to attend!
