Happy Friday
What a wonderful week back with the students- both Virtual learning and Hybrid. We learned lots this week and are still trying to iron out some details. I appreciate the questions I am getting from families so we are able to help and clarify. Keep asking! This is new for all of us!

Virtual Learning Academy schedule is communicated through your homeroom teacher
Dismissal: Hybrid in person
Bus Riders and kids club students will be dismissed at 3:05
4th and 5th grade students will be dismissed at 3:08
Kindergarten-3rd grade will be dismissed at 3:10
All classroom teachers walk their students out the door and wait at the pick-up spot until your child has been picked up or left to bike/walk
Students should meet their younger sibling in the youngest child zone for pickup or to walk/bike home.
All students should load on the right side of the car and adults should stay in their car.
If you park in the parking lot and walk up to the the pick-up location, please wear a mask and use the crosswalk to and from the lot.
Do not pull into the bus lot: signs are posted but we will not allow students to load cars that are in that lot.
VLA Specialist
Dear Virtual Learning Academy Family,
Due to enrollment changes and class list updates, our specialists will first begin interacting with students through SeeSaw on Monday, Sept. 14.
Activities and information for art, music, physical education or media will be posted in SeeSaw on that date. Thank you for your patience.

All Students to Receive Breakfast and Lunch at No Cost
The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) has approved South Washington County Schools (SoWashCo) to provide free breakfast and lunch for all enrolled students starting on Monday, Sept. 14. This benefit includes meals provided at curbside pick-up sites. Student barcodes will still be required at school and at meal pick-up locations. Meals purchased between Sept. 8-11 will be credited back to each student’s account by the end of September. School menus and pricing for ala carte items are available on our website.
- Free meals may return to being charged based on eligibility for free or reduced-priced meals later in the year. If you have not yet, please complete the application for free or reduced-priced meals.
Free meals will be provided until federal funding runs out.
Family Technology Support
Family Technology Support Phone Line 651-425-HELP (4357)
South Washington County Schools (SoWashCo) has started a new family technology support phone line at 651-425-HELP (4357). Standard phone line hours are Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. You can leave a voicemail at any time with your child’s name, the school they attend and a call back number, and someone will return your call.

8:25 Students will enter the building- students can not be dropped off or come early. If you are here earlier, have students wait in the car until the doors open at 8:25.
