Quoi de neuf à EPK?
Semaine du 4 au 8 novembre 2019
REMEMBER: THERE WILL BE NO SCHOOL FROM NOVEMBER 11 TO 15. ENJOY YOUR FALL BREAK EVERYONE!
DROP OFF AND PICK UP ZONE- NO PARKING PLEASE!
Cher Parent(s);
Due to the high volume of traffic that occurs during drop-off and pick-up hours it is important we are vigilant when driving around our school zone. As a result, we need to ask you NOT to park, or leave your car in the drop-off lane at anytime. To help with the flow of traffic and to ensure our children’s safety, we need to ask all parents who wish to escort their children in the building to park on the streets.
When dropping off your child in the morning, please drive all the way to the front of the line of cars, drop off your child and exit the parking lot.
Please note the following supervised drop-off and pick-up times:
Drop - Off
8:30 am
8:46 am
Pick – Up (after the buses have left as it is too dangerous for students crossing the crosswalk)
3:18 pm
3:30 pm
Thank you for your cooperation and for your help in making our school a safe environment for all.
God Bless
Mme Lafrance
Directrice/Principal

A word from the Principal
Halloween always brings a high level of excitement, and even though we had to be more creative this year, our Halloween celebrations were a huge success! I need to congratulate our Leadership Team who prepared such an exciting day for all our students. Everyone was able to participate to the scary and fun games they set up for our school. Many great projects decorated our wall throughout the school. From the various art projects, to the monster or haunted house stories, or even to some younger students reading or reciting Halloween poetry, to class parties and leadership led Halloween games, the school was buzzing with energy all day long. Many thanks to all the moms and dads who were able to contribute in one way or another.
Last night we celebrated our Catholic Education Mass and we were happy to see some of our students and families there. A special thanks to the Wallace family who brought forward the gifts for communion.
I also want to thank Mr. Andrews who came to chat with our First Nations, Métis and Inuit students on Wednesday while they enjoyed some tasty bannock and crabapple jelly. What a great way to create a connection and share their own history and culture.
Please take a moment to read the section of this newsletter that addresses our parking challenges. Your cooperation is greatly appreciated.
May you all have a wonderful and blessed week,
Mme Lafrance
