Tango Workshops with Simonida
Sunday January 25 from 3 to 6 PM
North Shore Tango presents...
Our first visiting teacher is Simonida Cekovic-Vuletic of Tango Affair and MIT Tango Club. Simonida has intensely studied tango in Buenos Aires with a variety of notable teachers. In her teaching and social dance, Simonida focuses on connection and expressive dancing in close embrace. She emphasizes delicacies of feet placement, adornments, elegance, long lines, and dramatic expression through contrast between dynamic moves and pauses. She has been frequently invited to teach across the US and abroad.
