Can't Stop the Learning at NISD

We have experienced several issues with losing electricity over the last few weeks. Our students, teachers and staff have responded amazingly! Our teachers press on and our students are resilient!

We would like to give a huge shout out to our Cafeteria Team who worked so hard to prepare and serve food for all of our students in the DARK with no power! They are ROCKSTARS!

The Sunshine Center of Madisonville reached out to our area in hopes of better supporting individuals in our area that are in need. Supporting our local families in need is something we always look for opportunities to do. The goal for the Sunshine Center is to have a location here in Normangee that can support our families in need. If you would like to help or have ideas to support these efforts please email Mrs. Tesch at the email address above.

Normangee Staff Did You Know?

Did you know that this year our staff has teamed up with Centerville ISD to form Professional Learning Communities?

Several times throughout the semester we have met and collaborated with educators from Centerville ISD to discuss teaching strategies, techniques and develop lessons that best support all learners.

These Professional Learning Communities have proved to be a great resource for teachers and have allowed teachers to support their peers and learn from them also!
