WEEK OF MAY 16-20
Spring Fever is in the air 🌷 Tips to keep kiddos ready to learn.
*get plenty of rest
*eat a healthy breakfast
*practice snap words and read every day
What we are learning:
Reading:
We are reviewing skills from the last nine weeks. (Poetry, Genre, Problem and solutions, characters and plot, snap words)
Writing:
We are wrapping up our Poetry unit by creating a work sample of all of the poems we have created.
Math:
We are reviewing all of math skills from the last nine weeks. (Measurement, time, number stories, money, and place value)
Social Studies:
We can identify the contributions of scientists and inventors such as Alexander Graham Bell, Thomas Edison, and Garrett Morgan.
Science:
We can analyze and record examples of interdependence found in various situations such as terrariums and aquariums or pet and caregiver.
We can gather evidence of interdependence among living organisms such as energy transfer through food chains or animals using plants for shelter.

5/19 : 9:00 am Last Exceptional Eagle Ceremony
5/23: End of the year Celebrations (10:30-11:45) You will come to the classroom first. The teacher will hand out awards and there will be a slideshow of pictures from the year, and then you will go to the playground to have a picnic lunch. (Bring a blanket)
5/26: Last day of school. Half day. Early Dismissal at 12:05.
