Force that opposes the motion between two touching surfaces. Works against motion.
Air Resistance
Force that opposes the motion of objects that move through the air.
Buoyancy
For an object to float, the upward buoyant force must be equal to the downward gravity force.
Air Pressure
The weight of the atmosphere pressing down on the earth.
Water Pressure
Force that allows water to go through pipes and reach people's homes.
Tension
The state if being stretched tight.
Elastic
The ability of a material to return to its original shape after being stretched or compressed.
