P.O.P. Power of Positive
Denton's POP!
- Thanks to Kierstin and Leanne for organizing the Career Day today. It takes a lot of prep work and behind the scenes to pull together such a big event. And thanks to all the PE teachers for assisting as well! Let's have a great day!
- Good information from our PBIS TEAM at Tuesday's meeting. We will continue to review each month our data and plans to improve student behaviors. Thanks to each of them for taking the time to train and plan for the benefit of the school community!
- Do you have an old gaming system you'd like to contribute to the student lounge "The Warrior Den"? This is a positive reinforcer for students to earn access to during lunches.
- EdTech trainings will be every Thursday now. Watch the calendar for topics. Thanks to Ryan and Chris! Let them know what you'd like more information on.
- TODAY is SMS Teacher of the Year Voting. Voting will close by the end of the day. Good luck to all of our nominees!

We need to continue to be explicit in reteaching expectations for behaviors. Take time to review the handbook this week. The Behavior Matrix is on page 4.
Students may wear their hoodies before school until the bell rings. At the bell, no more hoodies for the day, especially in classrooms.
We appreciate keeping food inside the buildings and the campus trash pick-up.
Let's work on NO GUM in the classroom and on the yard.
Refer to you Warrior Handbook for this week's lessons for advisory periods.
This week focuses on the PASSING PERIODS/BREAK. Remember to grab a radio and be timely to your duties. Warrior Way tickets will focus on the PASSING PERIODS/BREAK behaviors. If you need more tickets just ask.
