Welcome Back!
This year I have decided to find the little blessings in each day. It becomes so easy to focus (or in my case hyper-focus) on the negative things that happen each day or the items that I still have not completed from my "To Do" list. I have come to the conclusion that hard work, a positive mind, and a helpful attitude make me feel better about the work that I am doing. The teaching profession is one in which children/young adults are watching our every move, our words, and our attitudes to figure out the world around them and how to respond to it. I can tell you that in the last few weeks, I am so proud of our MCSD staff and how they exemplify adaptability and flexibility in their daily interactions with our students!
Schoology Assessments - 15 NEW Question Types

Follow these steps:
- If you don't have a Smore account yet, skip to step 4
- If you created a free account over the summer, go into the "YOU" in the upper right toolbar and check out your profile. Make sure that the email attached to your account is your @manheimcentral.ORG account.
- If not, then edit your profile and change it to or @manheimcentral.org email.
- FILL OUT the form below to have me activate your account.
New Schoology BrainPOP integration!
Below is a link to login to your BrainPop or BrainPop Jr. set up in Schoology. I found that logging into Brainpop.com and making an educator's account first was much easier. Once I did that, when I opened Schoology, it automatically remembered me and I was logged in. The Educator Codes can be found at the bottom of the Google.doc linked below.
Elementary & Secondary ED TECH Conference at the IU 13
Have you been utilizing gamification in your classroom? Maybe you are using gaming techniques and have found ways to put "fun" into your lessons. Please sign up to PRESENT at the IU 13 conference. Conference presentation ideas need to be submitted by Oct. 2nd.

Tech Tickets
Remember to continue to use our TECH TICKET system when encountering problems. This allows us to track issues and see trends. Don't hesitate to reach out to us if you haven't heard anything about a tech ticket within 24-48 hours. We ARE trying to resolve and close your technical issues, however, not all issues are clear-cut and easy to solve.
