SCA Veterans Day Recognition
Hello MCCS Families,
As we enter the month of November we at MCCS would like to celebrate our Veterans in our MCCS Community. We will be having a breakfast to Honor our Veterans followed by a short school wide assembly. We invite any students with a Veteran to have breakfast with their Veteran after they have checked in with their teacher. This is an on going tradition that has been made possible from donations and help by MCCS parents and the MCCS SCA. Thank you to everyone who has helped to make this tradition live on.
Please use the link below to RSVP to any Veterans that will be attending.

We'd like to celebrate our Veterans by serving them breakfast. We need your help to provide food and drinks for our veterans and their families.
Roof Repairs
Over the next few weeks, MCCS will have the metal roof and gutters repaired across both the main building and STEM building . There is construction fence around the worksite. Please stay out of all work areas until the construction is completed. We look forward to having our beautiful new roof and gutters in the next few weeks. Thank you to LCPS facilities for coordinating this construction!
Please see the office with questions or concerns.
Clean up day from our Environmental Education Committeee
Happy Monday! In preparation for BWS, we are holding a fall clean up day at school this coming Saturday, November 10. I plan to be at school around 9 am...but times for volunteering are flexible!
The front of the school needs to be cleaned up as well as the raised beds. Specifically, raking and bagging leaves, some minor trimming, and also sweeping the steps and front of the school. The raised beds will need to be cleaned out (except for the strawberries). The digging bin area and sidewalk along the beds will need to be swept, too. If there is time and enough help, we can do minor clean up in the Fox's Garden. Your time is very much appreciated!
If you can come, please let me know at sldeprado70@gmail.com
Thanks,
Shannon DePrado
