Students just finished studying the Vietnam and Cold wars. We are now studying the 70’s through the present. The final exam is Monday June 15th at 8.

Global History & Geography I
The Global 9 final exam is in class from Monday, June 8- Thursday, June 11. The test will consist of 50 multiple choice questions and one essay. Students should be studying for the exam this weekend to be prepared for next week’s test. Review classes are being offered during 12th period. Passing Global History and Geography 1 is a New York State requirement for graduation.
AP Global 9
The final exam is being given on Monday, June 15 in Gym G. It will begin at 12:00 P.M. and will end at 3:20. Review classes are being held at 7:15 A.M. in room 215. If students are unable to attend the review classes, they should see Ms. Keyes for morning review packets.
SS 10
We are in full review mode for the Regents Exam. All students currently enrolled in Global Studies II will be required to take the Global History and Geography Regents Exam on Wednesday, June 17 during the AM session. This exam includes material from both 9th and 10th grade Global Studies. It consists of three parts: part I is 50 multiple choice questions; part II is the thematic essay; part III is the DBQ essay. In addition to reviewing in class, there are two more after school review sessions from 2:30-3:20 on the following dates: June 8 and June 10. Please encourage your child to attend! US History & Government
The Regents exam will be administered on Tuesday June 16 from 8:10-11:10 in the gym. Passing the Regents exam in US History is a graduation requirement. Review classes are being offered Tuesday and Thursday after school. Students have review packets, a review book, and practice exams to use for their studying.
REMIND ALL: Students are not permitted to bring electronic devices of any kind into exams rooms. Put them in your locker first.
AP US History
AP World History
Students took the AP World History Exam in May and will be receiving their scores in early July. All students should have registered to receive their score at APScore.org. Currently, students are engaged in reading Night and practicing Global Regents questions in class. The Global History Regents Exam must be taken by all AP World students on Wed., June 17 at 8:00 in Gym B.
AP Government & Politics
The AP Government and Politics students administered an exit poll during the budget vote. They are currently inputting data into excel spread sheets. They will analyze data and then reflect on the entire polling process. What a great group of students!! You will be missed!!
Government & Economics
In Social Studies 12 the students are working on a research project on the economic and political conditions of a country other than the United States. The project is due June 8 and counts for 20% of the marking period grade. Other than the research project the students are preparing for the final exam in American Economics and Government. The exam will be given in class on June 10 and 11.
