Mrs. Lucci's Art Class
If you are interested in helping to prepare for the Bedminster Art Show
in the spring, please contact Mrs. Lucci at alucci@pennridge.org. Many wonderful works of art need to be stapled to long panels in order for the work to be hung in time for the May show.

First Grade Students
The first grade students are looking forward to the winter weather. After brainstorming many activities that can be done in the frosty cold weather, each child created a bucket list of activities they would like to complete this winter. To accompany their writing, the students created a snowman as reminder of the fun that can be had in the winter.
Mr. Sadowsky's First Grade Class
Did you ever wonder what snowmen do when you are sound asleep? While according to Mr. Sadowsky's first grade students, they have quite an adventure. After reading Caralyn Buehner's story, "Snowman at Night," the children wrote their own version of the story. According to Lilah, her snowman will be staring in the upcoming Broadway musical Frozen (get your tickets now!). Samuel's Snowman will be using a snow ball to play basketball and Emily's Snowman will be taking place in a fashion show where the snowmen show off their scarves, hats, and gloves. Besides being extremely creative, the children focused on transition words such as after, next, finally, and a few minutes later. This went with our Reading Street comprehension skill of sequencing.
Jump Rope For Heart
The zoo is coming to Bedminster! Towards the end of January, Bedminster Elementary School will be starting the donations for the American Heart Association. The theme this year for AHA is zoo animals know as the "Zoo Crew". Each zoo animal has a healthy message for all students. If any first through fifth grade students would like to get a jump start on collecting donations, please feel free to set up an account online at heart.org/jump. Your account should be set up under Bedminster Elementary School. Every student who receives $150.00 in online donations by the school assembly on January 26, 2017 will get a giraffe stuffed animal similar to the one in the photo.

Holiday Shoppe
Thank you to all the volunteers that came out to help with this year's Holiday Shoppe. We could not have done it without you. The kids had a great time shopping for family and friends, making a craft, and enjoying a snack/story with Princess Anna. A special thank you to Santa who took time out of his busy schedule to visit with our little ones. All the kids had a great time. Our newly created Icicle Lane was a big success. Thank you to all our vendors who came out to give our parents a unique shopping experience. It was a great night for everyone. We wish you and your families a Happy Holiday Season and A Healthy New Year! Bedminster PTG
