Update on Mask Requirement in K-12 Schools
Dear Parents and Students,
We wanted to share information we received from the Arizona Department of Health Services today in light of Governor Ducey's executive order relaxing COVID-19 restrictions. AZDHS Emergency Measure 2020-04 is still in effect, requiring masks in all K-12 schools. Masking is one of the top mitigation strategies for safe in-person learning as recommended by the CDC.
Masks must be worn on school campuses, on school buses and during school-associated activities by all students, faculty, staff, contractors, and visitors.
Thank you,
Arizona Department of Education

COGNIA RE-ACCREDITATION
Dear Parents and Guardians:
Good wishes are extended to you and your loved ones as we navigate and adjust to life’s changes during the COVID-19 pandemic.
We are inviting all parents and guardians to help us with input to improve our school. Surveys are a means to systematically engage all stakeholders in two-way communication. They provide school leaders and teachers with a lens into the thinking and perceptions of our stakeholders. We will analyze these results to measure our strengths and focus on our improvement needs.
We need parent and guardian input to share with our evaluation team.
Help the Coyotes with your time and ideas.
Please take a moment to complete the survey!
Have a great weekend.

COUNSELORS CORNER
Did you know???? The P.A.C.K. Store is up and running! Students from Ms. Snyder's class have been learning about customer service, and how to interact with customers, and they are doing a great job. Remember, students earn store currency by getting P.A.C.K. points for good behavior. These points can be traded in for candy and snacks, stickers, buttons, keychains, raffles, a pizza party for them and their friends and more! Items for purchase are often donated and we appreciate any additional donations of snacks and/or gift cards for the store. We wish to extend a HUGE thank you to Jeremy and Sandy McKitrick for the $10 Subway gift cards that will be raffled at the end of April, and to other parents who have sent in chips and candy. We welcome further donations as we work to encourage our students to be their very best versions of themselves.
Did you know??? AzSci testing is next week. Juniors will be taking this State mandated assessment on Thursday or Friday during their science block. Make sure students are well rested and well fed, and ready to work!
Did you know??? 7 weeks until graduation! Seniors, are you ready? It's time to get it in gear and get those Edgenuity classes completed, assignments turned in, and projects completed. You won't want to miss walking across that stage and accepting your diploma. Not sure where you stand? Worried about anything? talk to your counselor!
