Austin Middle School Highlights

A Note From Principal Brown

Greetings Austin Family!

Despite what people may say or think, we are off to a great start. When we started this journey back in September, we didn't quite know what to expect, however we can say that our scholars have proven to be very resilient and some amazing troopers!

As we continue to navigate along this sea of uncertainty and this wave of a cruel pandemic, let's keep in mind we are in this together and we will come out of this the better.

I want parents, scholars, community, teachers and staff to know that we have your scholars best interest at heart and there is no way we can do this work without you, the parents and all stakeholders.

AMS exist only to help produce a group of scholars that will be great communicators, life-long learners, servant leaders, law-abiding citizens, college-military ready, the next President of the United States. We want them to be critical thinkers and to dream and imagine a world beyond what they can even think.

Again, thank you parents for your continued support. If you need me for anything, please don't hesitate to reach out to me @ 409-761-3500 or frankbrown@gisd.org.
