A Message From Dr. Ricks
Parents and Friends,
Welcome back! It was wonderful having a few days to celebrate Mardi Gras, but it is also good to be back into our routines. Today is Ash Wednesday, and this morning marked the beginning of Lent. Students in 1st-8th grades attended Eucharist and Imposition of Ashes in church, and I was thrilled to have so many parents join us. Father Richard's message this morning was well-received by the students as he talked with them about Lent and that it is a time not only of giving things up but also of taking on new disciplines as a way to prepare for Easter.
Tomorrow, we have our final PreK Open House for perspective families. If you know of anyone who is interested in touring our school, please encourage them to contact Liz McQueen.
Congratulations to our Lower School Baseball and Softball teams who won games last Saturday. It was a beautiful day to play ball, and the Grace Gators were well-represented by these young athletes and their coaches. Nice work!
Warmly,
Dr. Beth J, Ricks
