NJSLA ELA and Math Testing for Grades 3-5 will take place May 2-6. Make Up testing will occur May 9-13. NJSLA Science Testing for Grade 5 will be May 18-19. Make Up testing June 1-2. Please make every effort to have your child in school during testing.

Please remember to send snack and water with your child each day. While we have some backups we can't give these out regularly to our students.

As you read in the latest communication from HSD Health, cafeteria lunch seating will return to pre-pandemic configurations. On March 7th, students will be eating in the APR at lunch tables seated by class without physical distancing. We also offer an option for students to eat outside if they choose. Each day, the students will get their lunch from the cafeteria line and decide to eat inside at their assigned class table or outside on the blacktop.

To help ensure adequate supervision, we will continue to need parent volunteers. 1st,4th, and 5th grades have lunch/recess 11:45AM-12:30PM. 2nd and 3rd grades have Lunch/Recess 12:35PM-1:20PM. One volunteer slot per day.

We make a concerted effort not to call the classroom from the main office, unless absolutely necessary, as this interprets instruction. Please make plans with your child for afterschool in the morning before coming to school.

Sora is our school's digital library, which is linked to the Haddonfield Public Library and the New Jersey Schools Shared Collection. Students can borrow ebooks and audiobooks using their school Google credentials. Click the link below for directions.

HSD students in grades 3-5 are now eligible to receive virtual tutoring from HMHS students. If interested in this please complete this form. Throughout the year we will be collecting gently used books for an organization called BookSmiles. which promotes literacy and the joy of reading by giving books to children throughout New Jersey and Greater Philadelphia. Collection bin is located in front of the school.

We’re using IXL to support our curriculum in Math and Language Arts this year, and your child has access to this online program at home. With thousands of skills that match what we’re learning, as well as insights into student progress, IXL is a great resource to help your child excel and practice skills.Click Here for IXL Parent Guide

This link contains short videos where you can view an example of the Everyday Math algorithms, which are different than traditional methods. This is a great resource for assisting students with homework and studying.

As a family, plot yourself on the mood meter. Share where you are and why. Helping your child label his/her feelings enhances self-awareness and helps with the next steps of expressing and regulating emotions.

The Haddonfield School District has once again enrolled with STOPit! STOPit is an online reporting tool designed to deter and mitigate bullying, cyber abuse, and other inappropriate behaviors, consisting of an app and a back-end incident management system for school administrators.Our students can have access to the STOPit mobile app, which has two simple but powerful features.
