Otsego High School
Weekly Parent Newsletter
From the Desk of Mr. O'Shea
Reminder to all parents that next week on Wednesday September 16th, Otsego Local Schools will be on a Two Hour Delay Schedule. Students report to school two hours later than usual and the teachers will be reporting at their usual times for Professional Development. Busses will also be running two hours later than usual.
The picture in my message this week shows our students from last night at the "Bash BG Bonfire". We had nearly half our students attend. It was a great night filled with School Spirit. Special thanks and shout out goes to our local heroes from the Washington Township Fire Department for assisting us and keeping our kids safe. Thank You.
I hope you all have a great weekend. #OtsegoKnights
Checking Homework
1:1 Chromebooks for Kids
Otsego Local Schools Chromebook Agreement Form/Insurance Waiver
If they do NOT turn this form in they DO NOT get a Chromebook. Please fill out and return ASAP. We reduced the cost to insure them as well. It is $20. (checks to OLS) It's ten dollars less than last year. We do not want these to become a financial burden, but we do need to cover the costs of damaged devices.

News from Athletics
Every Wednesday, ALL sports will wait until 3:00pm to start their practices. This will allow for students to seek out teachers after school for help with their school work and not feel as rushed to get out to practice as well as allow our athletes to possibly get involved in other clubs and organizations which will be allowed to meet after school during this time. Athletic teams may hold study tables after school on Wednesdays until 3:00pm.
The Athletics Department will also begin running a weekly eligibility list identifying all athletes that have either a "D" or "F" in a class and notify coaches and players. Coaches will be expected to work with their athletes to get these kids off the eligibility list.
The Otsego Softball team is selling Otsego Decals once again this year. Show your Otsego Pride! They are $5. Click Here for the order form. This is a fundraiser for the team. Thank you for your support!
‘Otsego Athletics’ is on Twitter and Facebook. Follow for high school scores and other athletic department information. Also, if you’d like to receive athletic news and updates by email please email athletics@otsegoknights.org to be added to the list.
