"OPENING OUR HEARTS TO HEAR THE VOICE OF GOD"

NOTE FROM THE DRE

Happy New Year and Epiphany Families!

I hope you had a joyous and blessed Christmas!

The month of December was a busy and fun! Classes took a break from the usual routine to include service project activities.

The donation to the Salvation Army was well received! We collected 9 pounds of nickels and some cash totaling $72.34. Additionally, an anonymous donor matched our donation raising the total to $144.68!

The Advent Food Drive was a success! All churches received food donations and we were able to supply both the Oakfield and Lomira Food Pantries with needed items for local families!

Thank you for making Christmas cards and ornaments during class! They added joy to a resident at Hope Nursing Home! Thanks to all of you who wrapped gifts and made gift tags for your parish community! Finally, thanks to all the volunteers who assisted in dropping off donations and helping me with set up and clean up!

Classes in January will return to their normal structure. Please see the link below for the calendar with dates and times.

Blessings, Lesa Staehler

ST. MARY & SONS OF ZEBEDEE FAITH FORMATION OFFICE

The mission of St. Mary and Sons of Zebedee Faith Formation Program is to aid parents in the Catholic faith formation of their children. At Baptism, parents promised to carry out the faith formation of their children and are considered their children’s primary teachers. Our parish catechists assist parents and children by providing quality religious education in a safe and spiritual setting. The collaboration between parents, catechists and students is essential to the growth of the Catholic Faith. The partnership promotes children to grow in their love for God and their understanding of their Catholic faith. It also cultivates their God-given gifts and talents and encourages them to follow in the path of Jesus. Furthermore, it encourages them to serve God and others compassionately and generously as Catholic Christians, which leads them to evolve into active members of their faith community.
