Important Reminders
- Each night, the white folder will come home with your child, along with their agenda. The agenda will have assignments and spelling words written in it. The folder will have the actual homework papers and any other important papers to take home or to return to school. Thank you in advance for your help and cooperation.
- Homework this week: Reading, spelling, and math homework due on Friday.
- We have a field trip on Thursday, December 1. This is just a half day field trip in the morning; there is no cost and we will be back at school for lunch time. If I have contacted you as a parent chaperone, please meet our class at the field trip - you do not need to come to the school first. I will send home more information this week.
- Square One Art orders are due as soon as possible, the ordering information went home November 18.
- Ms. Gallagher is taking orders for musical recorders. Your child will need one in music class. Please see the blue form that came home on November 28.
Thanks,
Mrs. Reiber

What we are learning in Room 12...
This is the area of the weekly newsletter where parents/guardians can be informed of what is planned for our week. If your child is ever going to be absent, please let me know in advance if possible, so I can send make-up work with them.
- Math - We started our next math unit about measurement and time. We are learning about grams, kilograms, liters, and milliliters and how to round numbers using these measurements.
- Reading - We are starting a short unit about theme, and we will read a lot of Kevin Henkes' books to compare the theme in each.
- Writing/Spelling - This week's spelling words are about silent letters. The spelling test is on Friday. For writing class, we are continuing our narrative writing unit.
- Social Studies - We have almost finished learning about local government! There will be a test scheduled for next week; study guide will come home this week. We also have a field trip about Tallmadge history on Thursday, December 1.
