Broken Arrow Weekly Update
Looking Forward to the Week of February 20-24
Message from Mrs. Green
There is quite a bit coming up of the next few weeks including a day off for elementary students on Monday, February 20th. Teachers have a professional development day and will be in training sessions all day to grow their skills and craft.
Next week we will have our February Eagle Nest time on Wednesday that will wrap up our learning about Honesty. We also have a FREE FAMILY BINGO NIGHT scheduled for Friday, February 24th. See information about this and much more, below!

Staff Spotlight: Ms. Hull
"I recently graduated from the Lawrence University Conservatory of Music in Appleton, Wisconsin with a degree in K-12 music education and vocal performance. I am excited to be joining the Broken Arrow team and can't wait to get to know and make music with your students. I grew up in the USD 497 school district and it is a dream come true to return to the district as a teacher. Outside of school, I love spending time with friends, family, and my two cats."
JOIN US! February 24th 6:30-8:00pm for BINGO!

Marathon Club Begins Again on Monday, March 20th
The purpose of Marathon Club is to work towards or achieve the goal of running/walking the number of miles in a marathon (26.2 miles). To achieve this, most students need to focus on their goal and attend the Fall and Spring Marathon Club sessions. Due to this, there is usually only one opportunity to sign up for Marathon Club in the Fall.
However, this Spring, Marathon Club will be open to new students even if you did not attend Marathon Club in the Fall.
Please note: It is highly unlikely that students will be able to achieve the miles needed to earn marathon status if they did not attend the Fall sessions. But, if your student is looking for a great way to exercise this spring, Marathon Club will be welcoming new students.
Please remember that Marathon Club is for 1st-5th graders only. Kindergartners can participate if their guardian attends with them. If you would like to sign your student up for Marathon Club, please ask the front office for a registration form.
Please send any questions to bamarathonclub@gmail.com.
